Steve Higgs Sport and Exercise Psychology is a Sport Psychology and Personal Development Consultancy with a mission to help individuals enhance performance, develop greater self-understanding and psychological well-being, to achieve greater success and fulfilment; be that sport, career, or life changes.


Steve Higgs (C.Psychol) is based in Lancashire, England, and works with individual athletes and teams at both amateur and professional levels. Steve also works in a variety of personal development settings, helping individuals excel in areas of their life that matter to them.

Steve works across all age groups, i.e., young people, teenagers, and adults, and is available for face-to-face or online/telephone consultations. Steve also deliveries bespoke workshops/seminars to organisations, teams, coaches, and parents.

About Steve

Steve is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist (C.Psychol), registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a Practitioner Psychologist (HCPC) registered. Steve's academic qualifications include BSc Psychology and Education Research, MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology, Post-Graduate (Stage 2) Sport and Exercise Psychology (doctorate level). In addition, Steve also holds a PGCE teaching qualification (post-compulsory), alongside qualifications in Neuro-linguistic programming (INLPTA Trainer), coaching and counselling qualifications, and boxing for fitness qualification (Hatton Academy- Advanced Level).
